FAQs
What ages of children or babies do you photograph?
I photograph all ages from Newborn through to families and older children. I also offer mini sessions throughout the year. Please take a look at my family section for more info on packages.
How do I book a photography session?
Booking a photography session is easy. Simply send me an email or text and we can arrange a date for the session. I will guide you through the process and discuss your requirements etc.
How long after until we receive the gallery?
Typically it is a 2-3 week turnaround
What happens if the weather is unfavorable on the day of an outdoor shoot?
If the weather doesn't cooperate on the day of an outdoor shoot and you don't want to go ahead then we can discuss alternative dates. I want to ensure the best possible outcome for your photos
How far in advance do we need to book?
Honestly, the earlier the better and definitely ASAP if you would like a weekend date. I do get booked up several months in advance for my family and baby sessions. However, when booking so far in advance I understand things can happen that are out of our control so if you need to reschedule, it's no problem, just let me know.
Do we own the copyright?
No, not with the session fee. However, you can buy the full gallery of images for £250, in doing so you then own the joint copyright and can use, share and copy as you wish
What should we wear?
Neutral, neutral, neutral is my vibe, it keeps the focus on you all and gives a more timeless look. Dark colours like black and navy also show up dust and hair really easily on the images.
I need to cancel, what should I do?
As soon as you know then just send me a message and I will cancel the date. If you have any alternative dates that work then we can get you rescheduled for a new date.
Have you ever had a child not cooperate during the session?
I have! But the key thing to note is that I have literally never not been able to deliver a gallery full of beautiful images to my clients. Children can feel unsure in the presence of a new person, or new situation, especially that 2-3 age, but eventually they come around to enjoying the photos, I think it helps that we are in your home. Plus all I really need is a solid 10-15 minutes of a happy child to give you a good selection.
How much space do you need for your studio?
So, I need around 2.5 meters in front of a window or ideally patio doors for best light. If in doubt just let me know and we can chat about it in more detail
