I have been in business since 2006 and the thing I absolutely love the most about photography is capturing that split second moment that tells a story! A cuddle with your gran, the laughs and interactions with your guests, your veil in the breeze…. all captured in my signature soft, natural way!

When you look back at your photos you want to relive the memories of the actual day. The posed type photos are important and will be captured in a relaxed beautiful way using the surroundings of your venue, but what is also important is that you have time to spend with your guests during your wedding, I will blend in with your guests, quietly capturing those natural moments of giggles, selfies, cuddles and drinks, as well as having a few more formal family type photos with Mum and Dad, Bridesmaids, Groomsmen etc, giving you a true reflection of your wedding day.

After you receive your full gallery I like to send you a little surprise gift, usually print related. There is just something about having a physical image and not just seeing them on a screen that I absolutely love!


CONSULATIONS

As many video calls, emails and chats as you need. I am here to help, guide and offer advice whenever you need it. I will arrange a video call for around one month before your wedding, just to run through things like your wedding timeline, family photo lists and to day hi! /

Multiple Cameras....


Time is of the essence in wedding photography, especially for candid photography and for that reason I always carry 2 cameras on me (sometimes even 3). It gives me the ability to quickly switch between photographing anything close by and also getting those moments happening in the distance...without the need to change lenses or disrupt the scene! It all helps towards capturing more of those natural moments in a relaxed way.

I take on a limited number of weddings per year and dates do book quickly, so please get in touch as soon as you can if you would like to secure your date with me.

Once you get in touch, I’ll personally respond within 24-48 hours to confirm availability and to give you a little bit more information. Most couples book then and there but if you would prefer a video call we can schedule this in so we can have a chat and I can walk you through my approach as a wedding photographer. But please be aware that your date is not secure until the £200 booking fee and contract are completed.

Booking and Consult


When you’re ready to move forward, a signed contract and £200 booking fee will officially reserve your date. Around a month or so before your wedding I will get in touch to arrange a video call, so we can talk through your wedding timeline in more detail as well as discuss any formal family photo lists you may have etc

Your wedding day


On the day itself, I bring a calm, friendly composed presence and my unobtrusive documentary style coverage. Within a few days you’ll receive an mini gallery containing around 20 images all fully edited and curated to give you a little something to help re live the day while you wait for your full gallery

Final Gallery


4-5 weeks after your wedding, you’ll receive your complete online gallery, containing all your fully edited high-resolution images available to download instantly. A week or so after this is when you will receive your personalised gift from me. If you would like to order an album in the future just get in touch for more info.

Pre Wedding Session...£150


The session lasts for up to an hour and we meet at a scenic and quiet area, this could be a local beach, woodland, lake, park.... I’m here to help if you need any suggestions for ideal locations. Travel is included with the session fee up to a max of 30 minutes from the Newcastle Upon Tyne area.


You will receive an online gallery 2 weeks after the session to download all the images from, they are yours copyright free. Typically you receive around 80, but there is no maximum.

Images printed directly onto the page, and it opens out flat with an almost invisible crease so there’s no loss of image down the centre all displayed in a beautiful handmade card box


FAQs

How do I book you?
If you are wanting to get booked in, then it is a £200 non refundable booking fee which secures the date. unfortunately the date is not guaranteed until this is paid. I will also send you an online booking form for you to read, sign and return. This includes details on your chosen package and price etc.
Can we choose the location for our engagement shoot?
Absolutely! I am happy to photograph at a place that holds meaning to you. Included with the engagement session fee is travel up to 40 minutes from Newcastle. If your location is further afield just let me know and I can get a travel price over to you.
How many wedding photos will we receive?
The amount of images do vary from wedding to wedding and by package, but generally there will be 600 plus for a full day coverage. However I never limit the number you receive.
How long after the wedding until we receive our full gallery?
4-6 weeks, usually 4 but in peak season it may increase a little. You do receive a mini gallery of around 20 photos a week after your wedding, to help make this wait a little easier.
What happens if its raining on our wedding day?
I will always have a plan B for indoor locations and earmarking those with great light, as well as any areas outside with some shelter, like trees and doorways…or simply using umbrella’s, I always have a few to hand. I’ve photographed sparklers in the rain, confetti in the rain, honestly all sorts! Just don't let it change your wedding plans if you don't want it to! If you go for it, it can make the most amazing memories and photos!
Do we own copyright?
Yes you own the rights to print and share the images as you wish! And I am more than happy for your other suppliers to use the images too, all I ask is that they tag me in any they use.
Do you offer discounts?
No unfortunately not, I keep my package price as low as possible. So the current price actually reflects my best price.
Why do you take a limited number of weddings a year?
I do this to ensure I am always able to meet my turnaround timelines for galleries, so I am able to give every client the same high level of service, communication and overall experience at all times and finally to keep a healthy work life balance.
Do you take formal family photos?
Yes, these are some of the most important images from your day! I do however recommend keeping them below 10 and, with a little help from someone who knows everyone we can gather the family members, I will aim to get them done as quickly as possible.
Are you insured?
Yes I am fully insured, proof can be supplied if needed by your venue
When do you need full payment?
Your wedding balance is paid one month prior to your wedding date
